SUPREME COURT OF PENNSYLVANIA: OUR LAST LINE OF DEFENSE

The legal framework is fragile, and judicial elections matter more than ever. 
The bottom line: Abortion is still legal in PA but it’s not protected. The Supreme Court of PA (SCOPA) is our firewall.  As far right extremists legislate across the country by weaponizing the law against women and reproductive care, SCOPA is holding the line.  But that firewall only holds if we keep electing judges who believe in justice, privacy, and autonomy. 
 
There are things you can do!
 
Back Senator Schwank’s bill.  Call your reps and tell them to grow a spine. Find your legislator.
 
Support service members.  Berks County Veterans Affairs.
 
Defend SCOPA: Know your judicial candidates and what’s at stake.  Do your research.
 
Vote YES to retain this fall. 
 
This isn’t just about reproductive rights. It’s about control over justice.  It’s about who gets to decide what happens to our bodies, our futures, and our families.  Every time we vote, we are judging the system. And we don’t just judge the judges - we decide who stays.
