Senator Judy Schwank (D) has been a consistent and vocal advocate for reproductive rights in Pennsylvania, especially in light of the Dobb’s decision.  
 
As co-chair of the Women’s Health Caucus, Senator Schwank has introduced a sweeping package of bills (SB 881; SB 882; SB 883: SB 884; SB 885; SB 886; SB 887 –  mic drop moment!)  to enshrine reproductive rights in Pennsylvania law. 
 
Senator Schwank’s legislation includes:

• Protecting providers from out-of-state prosecution and licensure retaliation.

• Blocking PA courts from cooperating with other state’s abortion-related investigations.

• Safeguarding patient privacy, including shielding health records and provider addresses.

• Ensuring pharmacies can use practice names instead of personal names on abortion-related prescriptions.
