Since 2015, Berks County has seen the number of registered Democratic voters drop faster and Republican numbers rise steeper than the rest of Pennsylvania. It’s a trend that should snap us to attention.
The following graph tracks percentage changes in voter registration by party since 2015 at both the statewide level as well as in Berks County. Each year's registration numbers are compared to the "pre-Trump" baselines of 2015. Berks County has lost a higher percentage of Democratic registered voters and gained a higher percentage of Republican voters when compared to Pennsylvania overall.
